There is nothing special today. The normal day, I think so. In the office, I had to review the quotation for one of my customers. My director sent the quotation which describes features and technical data for a complete GC system to the customer. However, he is on business now and cannot revise. Therefore, he requested me to do this because the customer will use his quotation for the bid documents. This is important and urgent task.
But do you know GC? GC is the abbreviation for "Gas Chromatography" which is one of the most popular equipments in an analytical lab. GC uses a gas to separate the targer compound in a mixture by passing it through a material through which some parts of the mixture travel further than others. It is an expensive instrument that is used mainly for analysing the organic substances in the field of environment, forensics, food, petrochemical. My company is marketing GC system of Bruker who is one of the most leading in manufacturing this kind of equipment. Besides, Bruker has already established a good reputation in mass spectrophotometer (MS), ICP-MS.
