My MP3 self-talk:http://www.mediafire.com/?us3l3cqkyr8ar69

Today is the first day in four-day vacation. We are staying at Ha Noi, not going back to home-town as usual. Actually, I intended to go back to my home-town, but my parents said that they would visit us. However, they are really busy with some business, and decided not to do as the plan.

After getting up in the morning, I waited for my brother-in-law at a bus station. He caught a bus at 5.30 am and it took him nearly three hours to arrive at Ha Noi. The traffic in these days is extremely terrible because all roads are full of transports and people who would like to come back to their homes in other provinces.

We intended to get a taxi to visit our grandparents, but there were no available ones. Therefore, we hired a bike to carry him that cost 40.00 Vietnam dong for a distance of about five kilometres. Then we had lunch with our relatives with some simple dishes and took a rest. While I was sleeping, my uncle took him to visit one of his friends' house.

In the afternoon, we dropped by a cinema to buy tickets, but all seats had been booked. Thus, we decided to stay at home and watch our favourite TV programs in the evening.

My brother appeared at our house at 7.30 pm and started to play online games. Despite a young boy, he knows a lot about IT. He can install popular software and use applications in a fluent way. It is very helpful for him when getting acquainted with IT so early. In my opinion, there are always both negative and positive effects if children use Internet. They can have relaxing time after studying hard. Yet their mind will be influenced in case they spend so much time on PCs with online games. Moreover, they might become addicted to computer games which are usually full of violent and sexual views. This leads to unpredictable behaviour of children in their life. Parents should keep their eyes on the ball if they want their kids to grow up normally.

My younger brother seems to tend to spare his free time for PC games or to chat with his friends whom he always meet at school. I think it is a complete waste of time for him to do like that. He should use his time more effectively for other useful activities such as: reading books, playing sports.
