I have just finished one job in the company which required me to design 5-page advertisement in a specialized journal in the field of analysis. I chose the most favourite equipments and write some contexts for them. Then I gave the draft to my director for a final decision. After that, I connected to a printing firm to have a film for the draft.

In my company, I am in charge of marketing and purchasing with lots of tasks. I regularly update information of instruments of different manufactures on the company's website and design catalogues which introduce products. Additionally, I have to check all signed contracts, especially the specifications. Also, other main task of mine is to purchase the items which are produced or supplied by the local company, such as: a PC, a printer or a monitor. Now, I and one of my colleagues are preparing database for all products. The reason why we do this is because many mistakes have been detected in the process of implementing contracts due to inaccuracy information about products. These errors are originally of sales staffs who usually send the quotation to the customers. Maybe they have not read catalogues carefully or simply they could not translate precisely from English to Vietnamese. Thus, the director board has requested us to check and create data for all products with detailed specifications. This job must take us a long time to complete.

My company's apparatuses are mainly the analytical and scientific ones which are used to analyse and prepare testing samples in the laboratories in the sector of chemistry, environmental technology, biotech, medicine and clinical diagnosis. One of the instruments that are wide spread used is chromatography device such as: HPLC, GC or LCMS. The "C" abbreaviated for "Chromatography" is a technique of separation of mixtures by the colour of their components. Although the cost for these instruments is high, their performance and productivity are extremely excellent. However, the operation and installation of HPLC or GC are not easy and need qualified service engineers who are trained by experts from makers.

In the evening, I met Tom with a lesson topic which was about reading part. Perhaps there will be a four-day vacation, so just four students came to class. He gave us two reading documents and required us to do one at class and one as our homework. Besides, he introduced some helpful features of Google Chrome which is a very famous web browser. It integrates lots of amazing applications that will help us to learn English more effectively.
