Learning English

The weekend is always the time for relaxing. And so am I. On Sunday, I played a football match on 11-people field after three weeks. I was excited and enjoyed it very much. I think it is very important to do exercise regularly. Just simply walking or moving our body at least 10 minutes per day. It should be useful for your health.
The question I received from Plinky.com was that “How do you relax after a long, stressful day?”. I always enjoy watching a football match or a humorous movie. That is my hobby in free time. Besides, I like to stay at home with my wife and my child. Just talking with her or playing with him. That is fun! Other entertainment activity I would like to do is learning English. I understand that English is my knowledge, so I need to constantly improve it by studying everyday. In my own experience, I will list some resources for effectively learning English and the way I have been performing to enhance my English:
+ The website “TED.com” contains many different talks in many aspect of life such as: technology, science, business, global issued, design. Just pick out one talk you are interested in. Listen to it four times. You turn off the subtitle when hearing the first time. The second you hear with the transcript and pause the talk when there is a new vocabulary. Then, you hear for the third time with subtitle after checking out new words. Finally, you switch off the transcript and hear for the fourth time.
+  Practice your writing daily. Create your own blog (blogspot.com or wordpress.com…). Write on it about your life, your work or anything you like.
+ Read a novel: purchase an English book and just read a chapter a day. That is all. Highlight new words and search them after finishing each chapter.
+ Speaking: read-out-loud an English paragraph from any English material. Speaking by yourself with any topic you like and recording yourself by the Audicity software. It is completely free. Just downloading it onto your PC.
+ One this website (http://www.rachelsenglish.com/) you may have some clips which assist you pronounce English more accurately.
+ Your can refer to this website (http://esl-lab.com/) for practicing listening skill with lots of tracks about many aspect of life and academic education
