Weekend 23-24 Apr 2011

It was the weekend again. I took an "Mock Test" at REA center on Saturday 23 Apr. There were just 5 members in my class who did the test. After doing listening, reading and writing in the morning, we were tested the speaking part in the afternoon with Tom who played a role as an examiner. My writing and listening were quite good but the listening was fairly bad. My speaking whose topic was about "an important letter" was 6.0 points. It is a good result, isn't it?

At the same time, my wife went to the clinic by herself so that she had a test with glucose concentration. The conclusion said that she should change her regular diet in order to reduce the glucose which has a big influence on our baby.

The afternoon was the time for playing football with my team. We met a tough opponent who created some trouble for my team. However, we knew how to solve it with a 4-1 win and one wonderful goal of mine. It was the my first goal for a very long time and it appeared from an excellent cooperation with my team-mates.

MU also had a difficult win over Everton at Old Trafford in order to maintain a big advantage on the road to the 19th champion of highest English league. Also, Chelsea won and Arsenal lost. The next week, MU is scheduled for meeting Arsenal at Emirates stadium that is a very important match. If MU wins, there is almost no chance for both Chelsea and Arsenal to gain the trophy. Prior to that clash, MU also has another away-match with Schalke in the semi-final of Champion League.

My mother arrived at Ha Noi this morning on a business trip and medical check. She came to my home at 6.30 pm when all of us, including my wife and my younger sister, got up and were ready to welcome her. We cooked the traditional instant noddle of my home town and ate together. Then, I took her gifts, mainly fish and lobster, to my grandparents while they went shopping.

I also drank beer with my friends from high school. He came to Ha Noi because her wife had a heart attack and is being treated at one of the first-rate hospital. The doctor who is treating her is also our friend but he was not the same class. We specialized in chemistry but his major was biology. We drank, ate and talked about everything. The party ended at about 2.00 pm. I came home and slept unitl 5.00 pm.
